General characterization:
- Sopladora is located downstream of the hydroelectric Paute Molino, the largest in the country. Integrating the hydroelectric complex planned for the Paute River, which is also composed by the hydroelectric plants Mazar (under construction) and Cardenillo (under study).
- Sopladora will not have a reservoir. It will use the waters discharged from the Paute Molino plant, which is supplied by the reservoir Amazula.

Scheduled to start operating in 2014.
