General characteristics:
Colíder is part of the Teles Pires Hydroelectric Complex, made up of five dams on the Teles Pires River and one on its tributary - the Apiacás River. The complex would be composed by the following dams: Teles Pires (1820 MW), São Manuel (746 MW), Sinop (461 MW), Foz do Apiacás (275 MW) and Magessi (53 MW).
Timeline:
Brazil's Federal Government expects that Colíder will start operating in 2015.
Companies:
Eletronorte and Furnas are subsidiaries of the state-owned company Eletrobrás.
Archeological sites:
6 archaeological sites were identified in the project's area of influence.
